BOBBY is one of our top priorities today -- please donate to help us make it through the next few days: bit.ly/bajadonate
--
We all know and love BOBBY by now. We are pulling her from adoption status right now because her tremors are getting worse. We are bumping her up to around the clock care, and have had multiple meetings with our vet staff on how to move forward, and are going to try a couple of new treatments ASAP. We are doing everything we can.
Bobby is having trouble walking, but can still eat and drink on her own. We know Bobby is a fighter, and she is in good spirits. Please help us with her medical care and treatments. You can read the full story on Bobby here: bit.ly/bobbyupdate

RONNIE is one of our top priorities today, please donate to help: bit.ly/bajadonate
--
From our vets: MEET RONNIE -- Ronnie was abandoned outside of our sanctuary. He was skin and bones, infested with ticks, and could barely move.

We brought him into our sanctuary immediately and began emergency medical treatment with bags of IV fluids, antibiotics and medicine. He was so badly drained of blood form all the ticks he needed additional emergency blood transfusions.

After running many tests we found he is also horrifically ANEMIC, he had contracted ERLICHEA, a terrible wasting disease and has PARVO.

We continue to monitor day by day. It is obvious he suffered tremendous NEGLECT. He barely eats and we have had to rely on feeding him by hand several times a day and he is SCARED.We are doing everything we can and hoping that Ronnie will make it. He is starting to come around and can be very lovingbut then he gets very weak at times and just lays on the ground, CRYING.

We spend lots of time with him and are hoping he will pull through however the medical expenses for blood transfusions, IV fluids, tests, medicine and round the clock care are far exceeding what we can afford and we need your HELP in order to continue the treatment to SAVE his LIFE.

CHARITY is one of our top priorities today -- please donate anything you can to help: bit.ly/bajadonate. We need $1,500 ASAP for her alone to save her.
--
Grab a few tissues and meet CHARITY. Charity was brought in by a local mission. It would be easier to tell you what's going right with her. She is a sweet angel -- look how calm she is. She is infested with fleas, has distemper, has erlichea, a really bad incfection, an eye infection, and is SEVERELY anemic from all of the ticks. To save her, she needs a blood transfusion ASAP. We are completely out of blood. We need $1,500 off the bat to save her to pay for the blood and the transfusion. Will you please help?

❗WE NEED HELP❗
We are currently handling 3 dicey situations; three puppies who we are trying to give the best chance at life. We'll post individually today, but basically, Bobby's twitches have taken a turn for the worse and is under 24/7 watch, we are helping a family with their puppy who needs a blood transfusion ASAP ($$$), and there is one more puppy that a local mission is trying to save who ALSO needs a transfusion -- we're completely out of blood.

MORE INFO SOON -- but just know we're working hard to save lives and need your help. We need $$$: bit.ly/bajadonate

We adopted our dog from Baja Dog Rescue in Oct 2015. Her name was Alameda but we shortened it to Ally. She'll be 3 in June.

This is Olive hiking Cowles Mt last weekend. I adopted her from you guys in 2013

February 2017~ this is Addie, now named Xochitl. Might be Ally’s cousin! 😁

We adopted Stella (originally Bella) from BDR in September 2016. Best decision ever! She’ll be 2 next month.

I adopted Raffi in June of 2016. Best dog Ever! Thank you Baja!

We adopted Bane in October 2016. He will be 2 in June. #FirstBorn #OnlyChild

Adopted Otto is 2014. Sweetest dog we could ask for!

Adopted Nacho (then Jeremy) 16 months ago! The absolute best friend I could have ever asked for. Thank you Baja! ❤️

Adopted Mac (Zacky) in August and couldn’t ask for a better pup! Thanks for all you do!

And this is our Sugar, formerly Taffy who we adopted in June of 2011. We couldn't love her more! As you can see, she loves the dog beach!

This is our Willow who we adopted from Baja Dog Rescue in January 2016. She loves to play fetch, go for runs and cuddle!

We are constantly asking you all to donate (bit.ly/bajadonate). We realize at times this can come off as "annoying", but hopefully this helps bring home how much money we spend to keep afloat.
We just reordered all of our medical supplies, dog food, cleaning supplies, and dog supplies (bowls, blankets, etc). We spend thousands a month to keep the dogs we take care of healthy and happy, and ready for adoption.
Will you please help us out? With the recent influx of puppies, we are worried our supplies will be depleted a little bit quicker.

We got rocked this weekend. Yesterday morning when opening up our front gate, someone had tied up a mom and SEVEN PUPPIES. No note. All tied to our gate. Alone. Crying and scared. Of course, we're taking them in, but our pack size just grew by EIGHT overnight. More info on this terrified mom and seven babies to come.
